In response to COVID-19, B.O.N.D. Small Business Group decided to postpone its 3rd annual Pontotoc Food Fight and host the event virtually instead!
The 2020 Pontotoc Virtual Food Fight was held online on June 6-8. Contestants were challenged to create cakes using items in their homes. Ten bakers submitted their cakes to share their creativity and win prizes.
Bakers had the chance to win in two categories: People’s Choice and Judges’ Choice. Online attendees chose the winners of the People’s Choice Award; however, the Judges’ Choice Awards were selected by two judges – local food blogger Jeff Jones of “Eating Out with Jeff Jones,” and Tiffany Wheeler, local foodie at “Country Fried Foodie” and owner of Kreecher’s Creations.
