Dr. Mary Parker Named Keynote Speaker for 2024 BOND Awards

Dr. Mary Parker, a trailblazing entrepreneur, author, speaker, and philanthropist, has been named the keynote speaker for the 2024 BOND Awards, presented by BOND Small Business Group.

“We are thrilled to have Dr. Parker joining us this year at the BOND Awards,” BOND Small Business Group CEO Jessica Starks said. “She is a powerhouse businesswoman and it’s so inspirational to see a fellow Mississippian have so much success. I do not doubt that guests will be amazed by her story and words of wisdom.”

Mary Parker is a trailblazing entrepreneur whose journey is a testament to the power of determination and vision. From humble beginnings in Mississippi, where she grew up with sharecroppers, Mary’s story is one of resilience and achievement. As the President/CEO of the first and largest African American woman-owned security services firm in the United States, ALL N ONE Security, she transformed a small venture into a powerhouse with over 800 employees, making history in the security industry.

But Mary’s story is about more than just business success; it’s about embodying qualities like curiosity, courage, vision, and commitment. With faith as her compass, she founded The Mary Parker Foundation, dedicated to investing in under-resourced communities and empowering individuals to thrive. Through scholarships, educational resources, and community initiatives like Junction 2800, a multipurpose center in southwest Atlanta, Mary is making a tangible difference in people’s lives.

As an inspirational speaker and author, Mary shares her journey, aiming to empower others to pursue their dreams. She believes in the principle of “If It Is To Be, It Is Up To Me,” and through her philanthropic efforts and community outreach, she is living that motto every day.

Mary’s greatest joy lies in teaching and mentoring young entrepreneurs, sharing invaluable insights, and fostering partnerships that pave the way for success. She hopes to leave a legacy as a voice for the voiceless and a champion for underserved communities, ensuring access to essential resources like health, education, and wellness.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Mary is an ordained minister, a proud mother of one daughter, and grandmother to three granddaughters. Her life is a testament to the transformative power of determination, compassion, and unwavering faith.

“This year marks 7 years for our organization, and I couldn’t imagine a better individual to celebrate this milestone with. We look forward to her visit,” said Jessica.
