1. Go to The Mississippi Secretary of State website

2. Click “Business Formation & Services” on the sidebar

3. You will then see a dropdown. Click “Form a Business or File Business Documents.” 

4. If you haven’t already, be sure to register for an account. If you already have an account, go ahead and log in. This is how you will keep up with the progress of your filing and make updates.

5. Once you have registered and logged in to your dashboard, click on “Form a Mississippi Corporation, Nonprofit, LLC, Partnership or Cooperative.”

6.You will then be sent to a form where you will fill out the information needed about your business, pay your fee, and submit your application!

Congratulations! You have officially filed to become an LLC in the state of Mississippi!
